All of our weddings include the 788-square-foot Big River Suite for the wedding couple, with unsurpassed views of the Mississippi River and the Hernando De Soto Bridge (a.k.a. the “M” bridge). The suite’s separate living area is also ideal as a private dressing room for your wedding day, with those iconic views forming a picture-perfect backdrop.

Your wedding specialist will listen carefully to create a plan that includes your perfect décor, manages the event sequence, and frees you to enjoy your celebration. Your wedding specialist will also liaise between you and our culinary team to craft your seasonally inspired menus. All of our catering is done in-house for seamless service, and we source as many ingredients as possible from local purveyors.

What You'll Love About Us

We’re housed in the historic Wm. C. Ellis and Sons Ironworks Shop, built in 1879, with a lovingly reimagined and completely reconditioned interior. The Foundry Ballroom, our main wedding venue, celebrates the building’s original architecture with exposed brick and beams and feature panoramic Mississippi River views through tall arched windows.

The ballroom connects to a spacious pre-function area and opens onto a 3,560-square-foot event lawn facing the river—an idyllic setting for cocktails and for photos that showcase some of the finest views in Memphis.

For pre- and post-wedding events, such as a rehearsal dinner or a brunch, Beck & Call, our rooftop bar, comfortably hosts up to 60, and an express elevator quickly transports guests to and from the celebration.

The Memphis River Walk is practically at your feet. Our downtown location at the head of Beale Street places you within walking distance of the entertainment district and a short carriage or trolley ride from the South Main Arts District. Details

Confirmation of Space and Deposits

An initial nonrefundable deposit of 25% of the Food and Beverage minimum is required to confirm your date along with a signed contract. An additional 25% will be due 6 months prior to your event date and Final Payment of estimated total will be due 10 business days before your event date.

Enhancements

Little touches can enhance your wedding– from late night snacks, to next morning brunches, to gift bags delivered to your guest rooms. Allow our team to embellish your experience with delighters to elevate your special day.

Guest Accommodations

A block of guestrooms will be reserved for your guests, at a discounted group rate, on a courtesy basis. All reservations must be confirmed at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding date.Check in time is 3:00pm, and check out time is 12 p.m.

Rehearsal Dinner

Entertain your closest friends and family in an elegant and intimate setting, by having your rehearsal dinner in one of our private spaces. From an intimate event in our Semi-Private Dining Room inside Beck & Call to an informal cocktail event on our Rooftop Patio or Dedicated Event Lawn, we can help you customize a menu and other details, so you can concentrate on your upcoming big day.

Family Brunch

The perfect ending to the perfect weekend. Treat your overnight guests to breakfast the next day. Your wedding coordinator will arrange for a private room with dedicated waiters to serve your guests. This final touch will allow you to reminisce about the wedding and wish everyone farewell before you leave for your honeymoon.
